Divyanka Tripathi Shares Throwback Pics Of Her NCC Days; Pens Down Her Unforgettable Experience – See Pics
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi who is one of the top leading actresses in the Television industry was once a cadet of the National Cadet Corps, widely known as NCC. Before she entered the glamour and glitz world and made it big, ‘flaunting uneven suntan and showing off muscles were the norms of beauty and achievements’ for Divyanka. Just a while ago, the actress recalled her experiences from her NCC days by posting several pictures on her Instagram profile while also backing it with a long caption that sums up her experience in NCC.

Her caption read, “Flaunting uneven suntan and showing off muscles...those were the norms of beauty and achievements for us #NCCcadets then!” she also mentioned that activities that she took pride in, “Waxing and shining shoes till your face reflected in them, earning and adorning medals, crisp marchpast and cautions (#WordsOfCommand) so loud that the entire colony could hear you, such were the activities I took pride in.”

Talking about her living in those days and describing the food they used to get those days, she further wrote, “Sleeping on thin mats, morning PT and #DrillPractice in the scorching sun, holding together our tents in winds & rains, digging snake trenches around them, lining up to have basic food like watery sabzis, map-like Rotis and weak evening teas and still relishing it all because we knew that survival was more important.” Later in her post, Divyanka added how the experience made her a strong person, mentally and physically, “Few would call them extremely uncomfortable conditions, few parents might not even let their children experience such adversities but I feel these conditions make one a stronger person mentally and physically. Once gone through all this- you are ready to face the world head-on!”

Tripathi then signed off my writing further, “This phase wasn't about me, it was about us as a platoon, wing or contingent. Cheers to the memories we made #MPContingent, #CarmelNCCunit, #NCCJuniorWing #NCCSeniorWing, #AnnualTrainingCamp, #CombinedAnnualTrainingCamp #PreRDC #RepublicDayCamp”
